He has received Diplomates in the American Board of Oral Implantology and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. These are the two highest honors bestowed upon a clinician in implant surgery. Currently, in the world, there are less than 500 Diplomates of the American Board of Oral Implantology and less than 1500 Diplomates in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. George has also achieved the highest honor in the Academy of General Dentistry, the rank of Mastership, which represents less than 1% of dentists. Aside from the aforementioned honors, Dr. George has Fellowship status in the International College of Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Misch International Implant Institute, and the American Academy of Dental Sciences.

He then went on to complete his undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island with a degree in biological sciences and a minor in chemistry in 2008. Dr. Shehadeh then received his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2013. While at Tufts, Dr. Shehadeh was an active member of community outreach programs that provided oral health care to various underserved communities in the Boston area. Dr. Shehadeh was particularly fond of the pediatric clinics and enjoys working with children.

Following his high school graduation, Dr. Dean spent two years as a missionary in Monterrey Mexico where he became a fluent speaker of the Spanish language and enjoys using his language skills in his profession as a dentist. It was while serving in Mexico, Dr. Dean discovered his passion within the healthcare field, especially dentistry, when he would help give aid along with different doctors and dentists who would come down to do humanitarian service and has thus far given service in various homeless shelters, aided veterans, and given aid to those in Fiji and Mexico.
